A walking safari is a great way to fully immerse yourself and connect with nature and wildlife. Animals tend to be more cautious, so you won’t get as close, but the experience is often more intense and rewarding.

SAFARI BY NIGHT

The night safari at Jongomero is a unique experience that can take place before or after dinner, depending on your preference.

It gives you the opportunity to encounter species you wouldn’t see during the day.

FLY CAMP (from July 15th to November 15th)

The safari experience at Jongomero is entirely private and exclusive.

With the growth of safari tourism across African reserves, it’s now common to encounter multiple vehicles at sightings. In our view, this traffic can diminish both the beauty and the authenticity of the wilderness experience — something we deliberately seek to avoid.

At Jongomero, the experience is truly unique. You won’t encounter other vehicles, offering a return to the Africa of early explorers: untouched landscapes and wildlife that remains undisturbed and unaccustomed to human presence.

All types of safari are available at Jongomero.

Walking safaris and night safaris are included in your package. Flying safaris are also included in your stay (excluding park fees and applicable taxes). However, due to limited availability, we strongly recommend booking these activities at the same time as your stay.
